Portal Around the world
Portal Around the world is a design exists in several of my mixed reality projects. Inspired by Dokodemo Door in a Japanese cartoon Doraemon, the design of portals make the childhood fantasy comes true in an immersive way.

Ideation
I find the idea of transport into different world with a door extreme interesting, it give a new perspective of storytelling. Therefore I put the idea of portal into multiple of my Mixed Reality projects for both scene and interaction design.
Interaction Design
The way it works is simple but effective. Portal build a connection between two locations in one map level and provide a see through effect. User can get a little peak of the other scene before teleport.
