Catch Me If You Can

Catch me if you can is an interactive 3D sketch piece designed to create a delightful catching and pursuing experience for the audience.

The original idea is inspired from Prize Claw, a game machine satisfied its users by never satisfy their desire. The chasing and pursuing experience can be easily frustrated, so how to make it fun and entertainable is the key. An important element  is the sketch, the intention of this design is to make the user feel powerful, that’s why I use the paper plane as the model.  I design and developed the sketch of paper plane in Javascript, and then imported into Three.js.

 
 

The logic of this sketch is repulse, and I replace the mouse position with the hands joints of the skeleton, so when the user wave their hands, the paper planes will repulse from their movement.
